About Enlightenment ministries

Enlightenment ministries is a non-denominational church located in Covingham, Swindon, in the South-west of England, founded in 2005, when it started with a group of eight families. Since then, Enlightenment Ministries has witnessed tremendous cross cultural numerical growth, represented by over ten nationalities.

 The church brings together people from all walks of life, ranging from the homeless, offenders, the down-trodden and underprivileged as well as the privileged and the community leaders. It is here that they worship and serve together irrespective of their background differences, with Christ becoming the object of every pursuit in their lives.

Purpose statement

Our priority purpose in all we do is to honour our Lord and saviour, Jesus Christ, by carrying out his command to make disciples of all nations, (Matthew 28:19-20), develop them into mature believers who are Christ-like, and equip them for their ministry in the church and life mission in the world.

 Church Mission Statement 

 To accomplish this objective, Enlightenment ministries will be an equipping ground where every Christian can be developed to his or her full potential for ministry. This will be achieved through;
