Home fellowships

Psalm 133:1 says “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! 2  It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; 3  As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.”

As the old adage goes, a family that prays together stays together! Not only do we demonstrate friendliness in church, but we intend to develop and carry it on to our homes for the rest of the week. If I am a Christian on Sunday, then I will be a Christian throughout the week, and love my brethren throughout the week without reservation. We have put up a network of home fellowship groups where brethren share the word of God in depth and pray together, and together, we know what is going on with one another- we are, after all, the Enlightenment family!

We see the home group as:

An avenue to thoroughly equip the Saints

An avenue for Fellowship - An opportunity to know one another in fellowship

An avenue to participate in reaching out (Evangelism)
