Crèche
Joshua 24:15 says, “Choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
There is a saying that the family that prays together stays together- and how fitting when we think of our toddlers and church! Many feel the toddlers get too impatient and distract everyone else, and consequently chose not to attend church.
At Enlightenment Ministries, we do recognize and appreciate this as a process of growth, and if they need space to express themselves, there is not better space than in the house of the Lord.
To enable this, the ministry:-
- Creates a friendly and safe environment for the toddlers to express themselves
- Provides CRB checked trainers and carers for the toddler's Crèche
Sunday School
It is our belief that children are a blessing from God and he also expects us to bring up these children in the right way. We at Enlightenment Ministries feel this is the foundation stage for a sound Christian walk. The right foundation ensures the principles withstand any assault in one’s life. Children are taught biblical principles and applications from an early age, with an aim of training them to walk in a godly way.
Objectives
- Teaching the word of God in a understandable, practical and applicable way to children
- Helping the young children identify their gifts and talents
- Providing an environment where these gifts may be fully nurtured
