Woman of excellence
“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. (Genesis 1:26-27)
The original woman was created In God’s image and likeness, and was to fulfil the purposes of God in this earth, just in the same way as man was. Over the years however, the woman, either by default or prejudice, has been relegated to obscurity, with minor and inferior roles to play in society and the family. Abuse and gender prejudice have been the silent experiences of many even in a fast changing world which demands more input from the feminine voice.
The woman of excellence endeavour is to;
- Appreciate and celebrate the beauty that is God’s creation in a woman. Psalm 139:14 says “I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.”
- Help every woman discover their purpose in this world- for the woman, there is more to impact in this world than the home.
- Help the woman develop to reach their full potential as God intended for them.
